I have been exploring wicker furniture for a client of mine and we have been looking at
Lloyd Loom. This furniture is traditionally made of woven twisted paper and wire on a solid beech wood frame. While we are looking at more traditional styles for a farm house - there are some cool modern silhouettes coming through thanks to
Vincent Sheppard. The latest Inside Out magazine has the 'Butterfly' chairs in chocolate brown on the cover. See the cool 'Joe' chair at the dining table as well as outdoors in great colours. Always great to see an age old technique revitalised.
