It is a popular thought that kid's bedroom need to painted in a bright colour. The best examples of kid's bedroom that I have found have neutrals and soft colour walls - this lets the cool colourful toys, objects, art, bedlinen and furniture be the focus. Also it means that you don't need to re-paint when the kids have outgrown a colour - easy!
